Canna still flowering in England

What a year for weather and flooding, not so good for Cannas, but that was summer 2007. However, here in Worcestershire, England in late Autumn we have just had today's 10 day weather forecast, and there is still no frost due! We will still be able to enjoy our flowering Cannas for nearly another two weeks at least.


Above is a photograph of one of our newer introductions that has toughed it through this year with flying colours, and we may be entering that in next years Canna Trials in England. Its colour is a mixture of peach and apricot, with a thin ivory margin, atop of a pleasant green foliage. Quite a pleasure to live with.
