Revisiting Canna 'Valbonne'


A medium sized Crozy Group cultivar; green foliage, oval and cupped shaped, upright habit; flowers are open, self-coloured rose-red, staminodes are medium size; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink and purple; tillering is prolific.


Introduced by Vilmorin-Andrieux in 1941.
