Another new cultivar from the house of Yorke, a Variegated Group cultivar. A tall, quick clumper, the foliage is lime green, with a dark green background, the variegation placed randomly over the leaves. The flowers are similar to C. coccinea, being small, species-like, held about 230 cm (7 feet) from the ground.The parentage is C. 'Red Stripe' x C. 'Bengal Tiger' (aka Pretoria) and one other. Bernard is holding his cards close to his chest over the last cross!
It is a most sturdy canna which develops huge bulbs at the base, even before applications of Seasol.
