Introducing Canna 'Doreen Morris'


A medium sized Premier Group cultivar; dark foliage, oval shaped, branching habit; oval stems, coloured purple; spikes of flowers are open, coral-pink with pale yellow stripes, staminodes are large, edges frilled, stamen is pink and gold, petals purple with farina, fully self-cleaning; fertile both ways, not self-pollinating or true to type, capsules globose; rhizomes are thick, up to 3 cm in diameter, coloured pink and purple; tillering is average. Introduced and submitted to trial by Malcolm Dalebö, Claines Canna Collection, Worcester, England, EU. Registered in 2006.
